I was particularly pleased with the full insulation of all related pipe work as, prior to installation, these had caused me concern. My Victorian cottage now has an air source heat pump and solar thermal panels, which have just been commissioned, and I’m looking forward to my first cosy winter with hugely reduced fuel bills. The company were impressive from quote to completion. Space was limited for a hot water cylinder upstairs and connection of the different parts under the stairs. BUH commissioned a bespoke hot water cylinder to fit the cupboard space in my bathroom. Simon, the installer, worked out how to connect all the pipes for the underfloor heating, the upper floor radiators, towel rail in my underfloor heated bathroom, the solar thermal panels, the ASHP and domestic water, in a space only 850mm wide. I was amazed at how he fitted it all in without using valuable storage space under the stairs. His commitment, determination to create a solution, and attention to detail were inspiring.
